Unfortunately there are a number of scenarios where it is hard or nearly impossible to get to this data - be it because the oops happens very early during boot, or be it that the only way to get to the data is a screen shot that then needs to be transcribed. The presentation discusses a number of approaches to improve this situation, focusing on one solution that displays a 2D bar code on the display which can easily be photographed and then automatically converted back into the desired information.
